How Smart Agriculture Works

With technical support from the Hiroshima Prefectural Agricultural Technology Center, 373.farm has achieved Iot-ization of agriculture by incorporating various sensing technologies, including adjustment of solar radiation and temperature, as well as automation of watering and fertilizer application.

Achieved one of the highest yields in the nation!

With the help of "IoT," a system that connects various objects to the Internet, we have achieved one of the nation's top asparagus yields in just our third year, even though we have no farming experience.

 

The power of people, the latest technology.

The harvesting, pest control (prevention and extermination of pests and diseases), bagging, and other tasks that require human labor are performed by local Sakijima grandparents.

This project combines people and the latest technology on a small island in the Seto Inland Sea, where the population is super-aging.
Although it has only just begun, the harvest target of 10 tons for this season is becoming a reality.
